I had visited this location countless times when I was a teenager. This area used to be a small village school (Lin Fa Shan Public School), but it has long been closed and abandoned.

There are collapsed buildings and playground equipment in the area. Despite the slightly gloomy and creepy atmosphere, it is almost a comfort spot for me. I decided to revisit it on a cold, windy day. The sky was completely covered by thick clouds. It was just a short hike, with a 400-metre ascent over 3 km.

The broken slide was always the main focus for visitors. I used the twisted and slanted tree trunk and branches to create a natural frame, highlighting the slide as the subject. The concrete slide is worn with peeling surfaces. Weeds cover the ground, and the sky is dark and gloomy. A muted, slightly warm colour tone is used to match the overall scene.
