我是在香港曾經是最美好，於國際間最光彩耀眼、燦爛奪目的輝熿時代出生與及長大的香港人。在長大過程中受過的教育，使我能思想獨立，能辨是非對錯、分善惡黑白。那是做人最基礎，同時也是最難能可貴的得著。
A Hongkonger who was born and bred during the most beautiful and glorious era of Hong Kong, when it was one of the brightest and most splendid places in the world. The education I received while growing up taught me to think independently and tell right from wrong, good from evil, and black from white. That is one of the most basic skills in life, and also one of the most precious skills a person can have.
攝影對我來說，是一個在有需要時，可以走進去享受悠閑獨處、平安恬靜的舒適圈。亦是不斷地把我從家中推動到森林與高山，天崖與海角的動力。
Photography has changed the way I seek solitude and enjoy peace. It is a way for me to connect with the world and the driving force that takes me to forests, mountains, and faraway, unknown places.

就算曾經光彩耀眼、燦爛奪目，所有光景最終都會消失。照片卻能把只在某特定時空、特定時刻存在過的情景捕捉，讓你往後能夠透過視覺，重新體會當時的身心感受。
All scenes are meant to pass in an instant, no matter how glorious they once were. A physical photograph lets you hold a moment that existed only at a specific time and place. It allows you to revisit what you saw and felt, and experience it again over time.
